Does biomedical science involve a lot of physics compared to biotech?

No it doesnt. Biomedical sciences mainly try to decipher the mystery surrounding human health and diseases. So you would expect a myriad of biology and chemistry concepts to deal with. Biomedical sciences utilizes much bio-tech for analytics (think Microscopes, Spectrophotometers, etc.). Physics hold more weight in the bioengineering sectors.
