Is becoming a biomedical engineer worth it ?

The pay is awesome, the respect of your colleagues is timeless. You start in the east coast at 60k a year.Best of all you get to rest your hat at the end of the day knowing you earned a salary by helping people live a better quality of life. (unlike millions of lawyers) Being an engineer is an investment of your time and energy and ultimately it leads not just a satisfaction in yourself for having climbed the mountain but ultimately you actually start understanding the world around you with more applicable knowledge than you'd ever imagine. An engineer is a scientist with ambitions to actually earn money from their hard work.Please-Go for it!
