Its a subject in biomedical engineering that deals with instrument knowledge and its specs, in a laymans term> Vastly, it comprises of different devices and equipments incorporated in medical operation. The theory behind each and every instrument is detailed with characteristics beside. You will also get to handle some of these in practicals, and function accordingly. Like instruments measuring heart rate(ECG Machine, fundamental), muscular activity(EMG Machine), etc. Theres plenty to go on with these, so the instruments and operators dealing in biomedical are known as biomedical instruments and the subject is biomedical instrumentation.
